We successfully wrapped up the 9th generation of Beautiful Pioneers! This was all made possible through our partnership with By Wishtrend and through the participation of all the K-Beauty lovers who applied. Before we get to the details, we would like to say thank you to everyone involved!

//

Dear 9th generation BPs: The Cupidrop family would like to express our deepest gratitude because thanks to you, our 9th Generation campaign was another success.

We distributed By Wishtrend’s TECA 1% Barrier Cream to K-Beauty enthusiasts from all over the country.

Here is a report on what we got from our Beautiful Pioneers:

By Wishtrend – TECA 1% Barrier Cream

WHAT IT IS:

TECA is short for Titrated Extract of Centella Asiatic which is a purified extract of Centella. It is an acne spot treatment cream that creates a barrier over the skin while soothing and treating it underneath. It can also be used as a post pimple care cream to prevent scarring as well as to help treat hyper-pigmentation.

WHEN TO USE:

Morning and night!

HOW TO USE:

As the last step of skincare routine, apply desired amount onto face, focusing on areas that need the most help.

REACTION:

The most common effect that BP’s noticed was acne scar fading. After using the product for 10 days, many reviewers noted that their scars lightened up. For those who had pimples during the testing period—they noticed that the cream helped reduce redness. Many BP’s really appreciated the tube packaging of TECA cream because it felt more hygienic compared to jars. After all, you are going to be applying this cream to pimples.

SNIPPETS:

Here are some interesting thoughts by a few of our reviewers:

Trying new things – @wishtrend TECA 1% Barrier Cream ✨ I was generously gifted this by @cupidrop in exchange for a review. This is more of a first impression, as I’ve only been using it for about a week. ➿ ByWishtrend’s new cream stars Centella Asiatica – kbeauty’s current hot ingredient. This cream “creates a protective layer to keep moisture and active ingredients within the skin while strengthening, calming, and improving the skin’s overall health.” ➿ The cream itself feels sort of like an ointment to me – think neosporin. I use about a finger’s length on my face as a final step at night. It applies smoothly, and one application is enough as a final layer. I tried doing two layers and I didn’t like how it felt on my skin. One layer was a decent final seal on my evening routine. In the morning, my skin was not overly dry, meaning although it’s light, it gets the job done. I didn’t really like using this in the morning, as it just has more of a night cream feel to me. ➿ A week is honestly a really short time to test the effects of anything. I do have a few new spots in my face, but I can’t honestly attribute this to the cream. The cream itself did keep my skin hydrated overnight, and I didn’t notice any immediate adverse reaction. My skin was not dull in the mornings either, meaning it helped keep my skin bright. So far, I’m feeling good about the cream, and I’ll continue to use it in my routine. ➿ Thanks again to Cupidrop and Wishtrend – I’ve been enjoying the Wishtrend products I’ve been trying, this one included! Can’t wait to see what comes next. 😊 ➿ #cupidrop #kbeauty #wishtrend #bywishtrend #tecacream #fastrecoverycream #centellacurecream #asianbeauty #abblogger #skincareblogger #kbeautyblog #instaskincare #beautyblog #discoverunder5k #abbeatthealgorithm #koreanskincare #skincare

Happy Friday 😝 Today I’m reviewing @wishtrend’s Teca 1% Barrier Cream that was kindly gifted to me by @cupidrop and Wishtrend 🦋 ~ What it is: This cream functions as a spot treatment, aiming to strengthen and calm your post-acne skin. It contains Centella Asiatica Extract and Allantoin, which are both great skin soothing agents 💆🏻‍♂️ It is free of ethanol, parabens, steroids, and artificial color + fragrance. . ~ My thoughts: I love that this product comes in a tube! I have a Centella blemish cream from Cosrx, and even though I use a spatula to scoop the product out, I can’t help but feel like I’m spreading bacteria into the jar. So when I use the Teca cream, there’s no fear that I’m slathering more bacteria onto my acne 😂 I actually received this as I was waiting for a pimple to fade, so the timing was perfect! I had a pimple on my chin, and while the Whitehead had already gone away, the red mark seemed to be taking forever to fade. I used the Teca cream every morning and night for three days, and the red mark disappeared! This is the only experience I’ve had with this product, and so far I’m really impressed. I’m definitely using this the next time I get a zit 🙌🏼 ~ On a complete side note, THANK U FOR 5K 😭💖 I just hit 4K not even a month ago, and wasn’t expecting to grow this fast at all. With that being said, I don’t have nearly enough products for the 5K giveaway that I was planning. Would you guys rather I do a 6K giveaway with more products, or a 5K giveaway with what I have now? Let me know ⤵️😄

TECA 1% Barrier Cream from @bywishtrend promises to improve skin texture and strengthen the skin barrier, reducing post acne spots and hyperpigmentation. the cream has centella extract, which is supposed to strengthen the skin barrier and soothe irritated skin. I got to try this out as part of the 9th generation of Beautiful Pioneers courtesy of @cupidrop so here are my initial impressions. I’ve been using this as a spot treatment and it honestly seems a little too good to be true but maybe this product is just that good! I’ve used this in the morning on visible whiteheads or pimples that are starting to surface and by evening it seems pretty much gone! consistency is definitely key to keep those blemishes from resurfacing, but so far I really like this, and I’ll keep using this and update y’all in a few weeks.

I was lucky enough to become one of @cupidrop 9th Generation Beautiful Pioneers to review @bywishtrend TECA 1% Barrier Cream ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ TECA stands for Titrated Extract of Centella Asiatica which is the key ingredient of this cream. The form of centella found in this cream is made up of asiaticoside, madecassic acid, and asiatic acid. Overall it's excellent for improving skin condition as it strengthens the function of the skin’s barrier and calms irritated skin. It also has healing and restorative properties. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Asiaticoside helps form collagen to speed up wound healing. Madecassic Acid helps in suppressing inflammation and aslatic acid is anti-aging compound that helps plump skin, prevents wrinkles, fine lines and scars. Allantoin moisturizers, exfoliates and softens skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Features • Helps regenerate damaged skin due to collagen synthesis. •Prevents acne scars, lightens pigmentation. •Prescribed the same content of centella as ointments. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thoughts: This is more of a first impression because I've only been using it for a week. But I do have to say that in just a few days this little tube filled with goodness has really helped in diminishing the appearance of my acne marks! I haven't seen much improvement of older marks but the few red marks I had are gone! So far I'm really liking this cream. It has a soft texture that reminds me of vaseline but speads easy with no sticky or greasy feeling. I'm guessing the dimethicone gives it that silky texture. Will continue to use this the next time I get a pimple. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients: Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ethyl Hexanediol, Cyclohexasiloxane, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Glyceryl Caprylate, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA cosDNA analysis ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #cupidrop #kbeauty #wishtrend #bywishtrend #tecacream #asianbeauty #skincare #koreanbeauty #koreanskincare #skincareproducts #selfcare #skincareobsessed

@wishtrend Teca 1% Barrier Cream* . Maintaining a good skin barrier was something I never understood the importance of until I really started delving into Korean skincare. I always thought that my poor skin health was because I wasn’t using the correct products. Maintaining a good skin barrier won’t prevent you from never breaking out again, but it will make it easier for your skin to recover from poor situations. Skin barrier health has been key in managing my eczema. . The #wishtrend Teca Barrier Cream is a spot treatment that improves health with its strengthening and calming properties. Teca is supposed to be an amalgamation if the various types of centella asiatica, which is great for the skin as it stimulates collagen growth. There is also allantoin, which also helps moisturize the barrier. . What I like about this product is that it doesn’t just treat acne itself, but also helps with caring for the skin after the acne has dissipated. It really helps prevent the crustiness that occurs after acne goes away. . Overall, I think this is a nice and soothing product. I’m not going to comment on its effectiveness on acne because I’ve only used this for a week so far and I want to wait for long term results before doing so. I do really like how calming and cool it feels after I apply it to my skin though. . *thank you to @cupidrop for providing me this product to review . . . . . . #cupidrop #beautypioneers #bblogger #kbeautyblogger #beautycommunity #abcommunity #skincareroutine #skincareaddict #discoverunder5k #discoverunder10k #instaskincare #skincarediary #skincareobsessed #skincarecommunity #abbeatthealgorithm #skincarejunkie #skincare #igskincare #koreanskincare #beautygram #skincareproducts #instabeauty #kbeauty #shelfie #igtopshelfie #californiablogger #gaintrick #beautytip #beautycare
