If you follow us on our blog as well as our Instagram, you are probably aware that we’ve been hosting a campaign called ‘Beautiful Pioneers.’ All of our previous Generations (1 – 4) were huge successes, so of course—we had to do a 5th round.

//

The Cupidrop family would like to express our deepest gratitude because thanks to you, our 5th Generation campaign blew everything out of the water!

We distributed ByWishtrend’s Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water + Multi-Function Cotton Pads to 30 K-Beauty enthusiasts from all over the country. We got honest feedback (mostly positive), but all of our Beautiful Pioneers offered valuable thoughts that were super helpful!

Here is a report on what we got from our Beautiful Pioneers:

ByWishtrend – Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water + Multi-Function Cotton Pads

WHAT IT IS:

A daily exfoliating water formulated with 5% Mandelic Acid, which is safe for sensitive skin. This acid is a form of AHA, extracted from bitter almonds. Rather than harsh, peeling exfoliants, this gentle formula lifts dead skin cells and makes a perfect base for other skincare products. With use over time, skin will look and feel smoother and brighter. And it pairs perfectly with the Multi-Function Cotton Pad, which is a double sided cotton (exfoliating & gentle).

WHEN TO USE:

Safe to use everyday! For super sensitive skin, we recommend 2-3 times a week.

HOW TO USE:

After cleansing, dispense product onto the Multi-Function Cotton Pad and swipe the textured side across the skin, avoiding the eye area. Then flip the cotton to use the non-textured side to smooth everything out. Follow up with moisturizer. Apply SPF if going outside and do not use this product in conjunction with other facial scrubs or products that contain AHA, BHA and Vitamin C.

REACTION:

The general reaction for the toner AND the cotton pads were pretty amazing, to say the least. For the toner, our reviewers mainly saw an increase in brightness, a smoother skin texture and clearer pores. When used at night, it really prepped the skin for the rest of the skincare routine (such as essence, serum and moisturizer) and also saw a more radiant glow the next morning. The only downside that reviewers encountered was the tingling/stinging sensation when applied to open wounds such as acne and fresh acne scars. This sensation affected more reviewers with sensitive skin.

SNIPPETS:

Here are some interesting thoughts from our reviewers:

Been trying out the MANDELIC ACID 5% SKIN PREP WATER and the Multi-function Cotton Pads from @bywishtrend thanks to @cupidrop.official 😍This is a pretty mild exfoliating water. Contains 5% mandelic acids, from bitter almonds, which is ok to use if you have sensitive skin👍🏼I use exfoliating side (this side has a bit more of a texture to it) of the the Multi-function cotton pad to apply it after my face has been cleanse first, then I use the non-textured side to smooth everything out! After application, there is a slightly tingling feeling to it. Didn’t feel any burning sensation, and I didn’t see any redness. Get rid of all my dry patches and flakiness. Makes my skin feel super smooth and less dull afterwards. Highly recommend using higher SPF when you go out in the sun ☀️ since it is an acid peel after all. The scent is kinda like rubbing alcohol which isn’t really pleasant but it also doesn’t linger which is great! I also only use it every other day so my skin doesn’t get use to it and too much exfoliating is also not very good for your skin. I really enjoyed these products in combination!!💓 #skincare #koreanbeauty #kbeauty #koreanskincare #wishtrend #exfoliate #peelinggel #toner #beautifulpioneer #mandelicacid #cupidrop #bywishtrend

Omg I've been trying @wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water with the Multi-Function Cotton Pads and it has been amazing!!! 😍💕 My skin has been super duper dry and patchy and this has been helping me exfoliate the dead skin away 😘 The cotton pad is definitely the game changer!!! I tried it with the basic drug store cotton pad and I do not get the same exfoliating effect as when I used the Wish trend cotton pads. 👌💕 There is a slight tingling sensation after you put on the product, which tells you that the product is doing something lol. My skin feels so much smoother after using this and it's the perfect everyday mild peel your skin needs!! 💖 @cupidrop.official #cupidrop #bywishtrend #beautifulpioneer #mandelicacid #skincare

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% + By Wishtrend Multi Function Cotton Pads 🌴 It's TIIIIME! I've been obsessing over this exfoliating water since I started using it 2 weeks ago. 😱 If you've been following (and hopefully reading 😉) my posts, then you know I had a major breakout spree last month. 💥 I think it was because of my hormones going haywire + stress, and also because my pores easily get clogged. 🙄 SWIPE LEFT for more photos! AHHH I had so much fun shooting this!!! 📸 🌴 I've tried exfoliating toners before but this easily became my favorite and here's why 👇🏼 🌴 Claims: Removes dead skin cells, smoothes dull and rough skin. Gentle enough for sensitive skin. ☁️ 🌴 Packaging: Simple, ergonomic 🌱 🌴 Texture: Water-like 💧 🌴 Scent: Very faint chemical scent, goes away instantly after application 🌬 🌴 Application: I use By Wishtrend cotton pads in applying this toner every night right after double cleansing. ✌🏼I love the cotton pads because they have two different sides (gentle side & exfoliating side). I use the exfoliating side to help remove leftover gunk! 🤢 My skin completely absorbs the product within a minute. I let it sit for 15 minutes before continuing my routine just to make sure that nothing will disturb the active ingredient! 🙌🏼 Leaves my skin glowing without overly drying it out. Perfectly prepped for my next steps. 🤤 🌴 Outcome: I'm truly in love. ❤️ This AHA has won my heart. I've tried the Elizavecca Fruit Toner and that was a bit too harsh for my skin. I've also tried Pixi's Glow Tonic and didn't see any remarkable differences. BUT THIS…😍 It definitely diminished my comedones which eventually led to fewer breakouts. It's sooo gentle (no stinging sensation) yet very effective. 🌈 🌴 Available at @cupidrop.official website 👏🏼 🌴 Thank you @cupidrop.official for selecting me as one of your 5th generation beautiful pioneers and for providing this in exchange for my honest review ⭐️

First of all I wished this pic came out better but it's been so gloomy this weekend – the sun doesn't come out until like 12pm. Anyway, a big thank you to @cupidrop.official and @bywishtrend for this product and this opportunity. I've used many different kinds of AHAs before, but usually I'd find them too strong and/or they irritated my skin in some way. This was my first mandelic acid and after one use, I was blown away by how gentle and effective this was. It brightened, calmed down redness/acne, etc. In fact my makeup seemed to apply and look better mid-day (inner glow) while using this product. Like I stated in my post a few days ago, I have never heard of or tried an exfoliating toner. I've also never tried an AHA/BHA exfoliant to my knowledge. So I was really excited to incorporate this into my skincare routine. I am a big lover and firm believer in exfoliation. I typically use a physical exfoliater (St. Ives Apricot Scrub) once and even twice a day. That may seem like an overkill to some, but it works for me. The recommendation is to use 2-3 times a week for sensitive skin. Since my skin is used to exfoliation I opted for once a day, I was thinking about twice but decided against it for now. CLAIMS – for sensitive skin It felt very gentle but definitely should not be applied to any broken skin because it will burn. It's a product I can use daily and I love the fact that it's 2-in-1 which saves a lot of time. – moisturizing effect Most of my toners are the moisturizing kind and this did not compare at all to the level of hydration I'm accustomed to from other toners. I didn't expect it to be though since most exfoliators aren't. It does feel a little tacky on the skin after application but my skin does not feel dried out. – anti bacterial effect ABSOLUTELY 100%! When I first started using this I was breaking out pretty bad due to my period. I don't get a lot of acne on a daily basis but around that time of the month that's when my acne comes out to play. After using it for only two days I could see the reduction, I was really impressed. APPLICATION I really enjoyed using the multi function cotton pads, I would definitely recommend using some type of pads to apply this product. I normally just use my hands to apply toner but the pads work way better. They were soft and held the liquid well so there was no leaking. It also was sturdy and did not fall apart or leave residue on your face like some pads do. They are also really affordable at only $3.50 for 70 pads. MY VERDICT At an affordable 22$ I would absolutely buy this myself! I really look forward to making it a part of my daily skincare routine. I only wish I had a travel size to take with me to Korea this winter haha

BY WISHTREND MANDELIC ACID 5% SKIN PREP WATER | Initial Impressions: This @bywishtrend Skin Prep Water has 5% Mandelic Acid is gentle enough to be used by those with sensitive skin. This is a clear watery toner that is not fragranced and also does not have an off-putting smell like other AHA's I have tried in the past. The directions recommend to lightly pat the product into the skin after cleansing, or for more effective exfoliation to swipe it across the skin in a saturated cotton pad, like the one that came in my #PRsample. . The cotton pads felt slightly textured and were not as soft as my beloved @mujiusa Layers Facial Cotton pads, which I actually did not mind. When used in conjuction with the Skin Prep Water, it provided my skin with just the right amount of gentle exfoliation. My skin does feel smoother and softer since using the prep water. However, I experience some stinging on certain areas of my face, mostly around the sides of my nose and recent breakouts, when I have used it twice a day. I just have to be careful to avoid those areas when I use this product in the morning. . I was impressed by the results I have seen with using this Mandelic Acid Skin Prep Water even in just a week and a half of use. I will continue to use it to see if I notice more results, especially in brightening up my skin and improving overall skin texture after prolonged use. . Thank you, @cupidrop.official, for selecting me as a Beautiful Pioneer and sending me these @bywishtrend products to review! . .
