[Demo] “I’m Sorry for My Skin – Green Mud Mask”

In preparation for the warmer weather, we decided to treat our skin with Ultru’s I’m Sorry for My Skin Green Mud Mask in “Soothing.”

This mask is a bit uncommon in the sense that it is a mud mask treatment in a “sheet mask form” that exfoliates AND soothes the skin at the same time—normally, many people use a clay or charcoal based mask first, wash it off, and then slap on a hydrating mask.

Ultru realized that this is way too time consuming for the average Joe/Sally, so they decided to come up with a solution that can do both at the same time—and btw, it’s amazing.

I’m Sorry for My Skin Green Mud Mask – “Soothing

A mud mask treatment in a sheet mask form for an easier and cleaner application and removal.

Natural Clay, Volcanic Ashes and Bentonite to remove dirt and oil while exfoliating dead skin cells and controlling sebum production. It also has Sodium Cocoyl Amino Acids combined with various minerals to help soothe the skin and calm irritations. “Desert Blend Complex” of Agave Americana Stem Extract, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Evening Primrose Extract and Yucca Brevifolia Root Extract relieves stress and maintains the skin’s moisture balance.

Remove the plastic film from one side of the sheet mask. Place that side of the sheet mask on a freshly cleansed face. Continue with the bottom half of the mask making sure there are no bubbles & gaps between the top & bottom part. Leave on for 30-40 minutes as the mask starts to harden. Remove slowly from the bottom up and rinse well with warm water. Follow with your favorite skincare routine.

We thought the original instructions could possibly be confusing, so we took some pictures to show you how to use the mask step-by-step!

Unlike most sheet masks that rip sideways at the top, you can easily peel it by tugging at the top layer of the packaging!

When you take it out, you’ll see 2 separate parts: top and bottom.

Each part is attached to a plastic film—make sure to peel it off and discard the plastic film.

Apply the top and bottom masks and adjust. Tip: try to work a bit fast as the mask starts working as soon as you put it on your face! (Picture above was taken 1 minute into application).

Wait 30-40 minutes and the mask will start drying out in patches—meaning, it’s working! (Picture above was taken 30 minutes into wearing the mask).

After 30-40 minutes, take the mask off, rinse thoroughly and follow up with your favorite skincare routine.

We hope this little demo was able to clear up some confusions! We love this mask because it is one of the few mud mask treatments out there that does not leave your face feeling tight and stripped of moisture.
